Dr. Grace E. Kim is a highly accomplished and compassionate dental professional with a passion for public health and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Originally from South Korea, Dr. Kim immigrated to the United States in the 10th grade. Her educational journey reflects her dedication to learning and her commitment to making a positive impact on the communities she serves. Education and Training

Dr. Kim's educational journey is a remarkable testament to her unwavering commitment and passion for dentistry and public health. It all began at Salisbury University, where she stood out as a top student, majoring in Mathematics and exploring a diverse range of subjects with minors in Biology, Chemistry, Art, and Music. This multidisciplinary education not only honed her analytical skills but also nurtured a deep appreciation for the arts and sciences, laying a solid foundation for her future endeavors in dentistry.

 

Dr. Grace E. Kim earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University, where she honed her clinical skills and developed a deep understanding of the importance of oral health. To further enhance her expertise, Dr. Kim pursued a rigorous post-doctoral residency program at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental School. During this residency, she received specialized training in advanced dental techniques, oral surgery, and the management of complex oral health cases. She also excelled the extensive pediatric surgery cases and advanced treatment in her pediatric fellowship. Her commitment to public health led her to pursue a Master of Public Health from Harvard University.

 

Returning to Salisbury, MD

Rooted in her love for her hometown, Dr. Grace E. Kim felt a strong calling to return to Salisbury, MD to serve the community she holds dear. Her journey from South Korea to the United States has instilled in her a deep appreciation for resilience and community support, values she brings to her dental practice every day. Dr. Kim is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care, with a focus on understanding each patient's unique needs. Currently, she is licensed in both Maryland and Delaware. She helps nursing homes on the Eastern Shore and children in Delaware who lack access to dental services. Dr. Kim's holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing education and preventive care, makes her practice a trusted resource in the community.
