Dr. Grace Kim, DDS
Dr. Kim is a highly accomplished and compassionate dental professional with a strong passion for public health and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Originally from South Korea, she immigrated to the United States during the 10th grade. Her educational journey reflects her dedication to lifelong learning and her commitment to making a positive impact in the communities she serves.

Returning to Salisbury, MD
Rooted in her love for her hometown, Dr. Grace Kim felt a strong calling to return to Salisbury, Maryland, to serve the community she holds dear. Her journey from South Korea to the United States has shaped her deep appreciation for resilience and community support—values she brings to her dental practice every day.
Dr. Kim is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care with a strong focus on understanding each patient’s unique needs. She is currently licensed in both Maryland and Delaware and provides dental care to nursing homes throughout the Eastern Shore, as well as to children in Delaware who lack access to dental services. Her holistic approach to healthcare, with an emphasis on education and preventive care, has made her practice a trusted resource within the community.

Education and Training
Dr. Kim’s educational journey reflects her deep commitment to excellence in dentistry and public health. She began her academic career at Salisbury University, where she distinguished herself as a top student majoring in Mathematics, with minors in Biology, Chemistry, Art, and Music. This diverse, multidisciplinary foundation strengthened her analytical skills while fostering a well-rounded approach to patient care.
Dr. Grace Kim earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University, where she refined her clinical skills and developed a strong understanding of comprehensive oral healthcare. She then completed an intensive postdoctoral residency at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center, receiving advanced training in complex dental procedures, oral surgery, and comprehensive case management. In addition, Dr. Kim gained extensive experience treating pediatric patients, including advanced pediatric surgical cases through specialized fellowship training. Her dedication to community health and prevention led her to further her education by earning a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard University.
